Samsung 27-inch P2770 LCD Monitor
Yesterday I’ve just posted Dell’s latest LCD monitor, now Samsung has also launched their own LCD screen dubbed as Samsung Syncmaster P2770H. It can work as TV and at the same time a PC monitor. It features a 27-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, 5ms response time, 300cd/㎡ rated brightness, Horizontal/Vertical Viewing Angle of 170˚ / 160˚ (CR > 10) . Other features include dual VGA and DVI input, an optical audio output, a jack to receive sound from your PC sound card. The Samsung Syncmaster P2770H LCD monitor has an approximate price of US$460.

AutoBot: Anti-Carnapping Gadget
Mavizon Technologies from Louisville, Kentucky has introduced their latest technology dubbed as Autobot. This said gadget offers control over your car via a smartphone. It also works with a Bluetooth OBD-II, provided that your car is newer than 1996 model and can “diagnose engine troubles, keep track of maintenance, and locate your car via GPS coordinates”. This latest gadget is very big help to lessen carnapping incidence because Autobot makes it easier to locate your car if it gets stolen, or you simply forgot where you parked your car. The device can also send messages to friends and family after a crash. This gadget also includes locking and unlocking doors, bringing up windows, checking up diagnostics, receiving oil change and tire rotation alerts.

What do you think is the common problem encountered by a geek or techie while traveling? For me it’s where we can charge our gadgets or handheld devices. Agree? GenosTV, a small company from ShambroWest Corporation has announced its latest technology called Cyclops Multifunction Universal Remote Controller. The information I’ve read regarding its specification is very minimal like it has a full QWERTY keyboard, not sure if it runs Bluetooth or Infrared but it is said that it can be use on internet ready TVs that will be coming. It is also said that the company is planning to talk to additional manufacturers to try and get additional support at CES. “We are seeing escalating interest in our Cyclops Controller from entertainment electronics manufacturers, as well as a flood of excitement from consumers, due to its unique design and multifunction capability –universal remote control, keyboard and mouse functionality,” said GenosTV co-founder Mike West.

iTwin USB File Sharing Device
There is a latest technology in the U.S. called iTwin USB file sharing device. The iTwin allows two computers to share files over the internet. You just need to plug the other half of the iTwin into your computer and the other half to where would you like to send or receive a file. Security wise the iTwin uses 256-bit AES encryption to ensure that the data is secured while being transferred.
